Year 2 have had a very busy week this week. In literacy, we are just finishing our unit of work on Traditional Tales with a Twist. For our final task we have written a story showing that Goldilocks was only trying to help the three bears. We all excited about our stories and think they are the longest stories we have ever written!
In maths we have been learning to measure centimetres with a ruler. It has been tricky to hold the ruler still but we are all getting better at measuring lines.
Mrs Turner has been teaching us about the Jewish Festival of Hanukkah in RE. Evie wrote a great report about it and she was very proud of her work. Today we tasted some apples and honey which is what many people eat during the festival.
