Welcome to Rowan Class

Year 6 is the final stage of your child's time at KWPS. Whilst we will be supporting your child through a busy year, we will also have lots of fun as we immerse ourselves into our learning. We will visit topics such as Volcanoes and Earthquakes, life throughout WW2, and also learning about the history closer to home whilst we research the cotton industry in Kirkham.

Forest School

During this year, we will be completing our Forest School sessions in the first Autumn Term. The sessions will be taught by our Forest School Lead, Mrs Smith on Thursday mornings.

Every year everyone is given the opportunity to take part in a residential trip.  This is a fabulous trip, where children can experience activities such as canoeing, orienteering and rock climbing.
