Our Learning Mentor
Our Learning Mentor is Mrs Pye and she is based in The Thrive Hive at the front of school.
Mrs Pye has worked at KWPS for over 6 years and is the Senior Mental Health Lead for the school. She has experience of working in Sure Start Children’s Centres and within the Children & Family Well-being Service.
Part of Mrs Pye’s role as Learning Mentor is to support our families. She works alongside other agencies in helping to support our children and their families through links with Food Banks, local charities, Lancashire County Council, Fylde Coast Women’s Aid, New Start Counselling, The Den and the Children and Family Well-being Service to name but a few.
Mrs Pye may not always have the answers but she will support you to find a solution.
All support and advice is confidential. Sometimes parents just need someone to talk to and off load and Mrs Pye will always listen. We understand that parenting is tough and want to offer any support that we can.
