Clubs & Activities

At Kirkham and Wesham Primary School, we believe that learning extends beyond the classroom. We are proud to offer a wide range of extra-curricular clubs and activities that give children opportunities to develop new skills, discover new interests, build confidence and have fun with their friends.

We regularly speak to our pupils about the activities they would like to try and aim to provide a varied programme throughout the school year.

Information about school-run clubs is shared with families through Class Dojo, and places are booked through ParentPay.

Most school-run clubs cost £1 per weekly session, helping to keep activities accessible to as many families as possible.

Homework Club

Every Monday lunchtime, we offer a free Homework Club that is open to all children.

The club gives pupils access to school technology so that they can complete any online homework that has been set. Staff are also available to provide support where needed.

Homework Club reflects our commitment to equity, helping to ensure that every child has equal access to technology and the opportunity to complete their learning.

Jujitsu

We are also pleased to host a Jujitsu Club, which is delivered by an external provider on a Friday.

This is a privately run club and must be booked directly with the provider rather than through ParentPay. Booking information is shared with families when places become available.

Mad Science

During the Autumn Term, we host a Mad Science Club, which is also delivered by an external provider.

Children take part in exciting hands-on experiments and investigations, helping them to explore scientific ideas, develop their curiosity and enjoy practical science.

Mad Science is privately run and must be booked directly with the provider. Booking information is shared with families when places become available.
