York - Day 1 - Eden Camp

We arrived safely at Eden Camp to be greeted by the cold and rain. However our spirits were not dampened and we had a lovely time exploring the camp.

Before long the sun came out and we enjoyed learning about the World Wars, the Blitz, the evacuation of children to the country and life in the Armed Forces.

We are now at Huntington house writing our postcards home. The children are all very excited about their next few days in York!
