Bethany Project

On Tuesday we were delighted to welcome the children and staff from the Bethany Project in Tanzania to our school.

The Bethany Project is a Christian orphanage for children who have been abused or lost their parents and is funded by charitable donations from the people of Lancashire (mainly churches). The children  spoke to us about their life in the orphanage and how they felt blessed to be there as they are now receiving an education and are having their basic needs met.  They also performed a number of songs and dances and what a talented group they are!

We were also very happy that they joined us for lunch and the children had a wonderful lunchtime playing together with our Junior children.
