PALS (Playground Activity Leaders)

Our PALS (Playground Activity Leaders) are Year 5 pupils who help to make playtimes fun, active and inclusive for our younger children in Reception and Key Stage 1. They organise games, encourage everyone to join in and help children build friendships, confidence and positive relationships during break and lunchtime.

As positive role models, PALS support younger pupils in feeling happy, safe and included, helping to create a welcoming playground where everyone can enjoy playing together. Through this leadership role, Year 5 pupils develop confidence, responsibility, teamwork and communication skills while demonstrating our school values of Kindness, Resilience, Equity, Honesty, Responsibility and Pride.
