Good day everyone! As usual our children and their families continue to be busy with home learning, arts and crafts and other practical skills. This time spent together as a family is so valuable!
Dominic has been learning about the world and has also written a lovely letter about VE Day and his experience of the virus.
Declan has done some more maths work online and is starting to see more challenging questions on NumBots now! He read and reviewed the Roald Dahl poem and gave it 5 out of 5 stars! He also watched some BBC bitesize clips about Ramadan and wrote a factfile about it. He found it very interesting how Muslims do not eat or drink between dawn and sunset for 30 days. Declan also wrote a book review after reading one of his favourite Horrid Henry stories where Henry changes entries to Peter's diary!
Emilie is really missing school but she has had a lot of fun making Monet's Bridge with finger painting. She has also been doing some of the Oak Academy English on line and learnt about story mapping. She has been working hard on her maths and is getting to grips with the more than and less than signs and she has learnt to ride her bike and tie her shoe laces too!
